I have an Advent 4211 net-book with a built-in Toshiba Bluetooth device, but I can't get the LockItNow to find my phone. In fact, the software doesn't seem to recognize my net-book Bluetooth connection at all. Can you help?

In order to fix the issues, I suggest you update the Bluetooth drivers to the latest version. Navigate to the official web page, click the Download button next to Bluetooth drivers for Advent 4211 and save the file to your computer. After that, press Windows + Pause/Break key combination and open Device Manger. Expand the Bluetooth Radios and the Network adapters list, right-click on the Bluetooth driver and select Update Drivers Software. Use the Browse option to navigate to the downloaded package, select the driver and install it following the on-screen instructions. If you still have issues, try uninstalling LockItNow and installing it again. If this doesn't help, it means that the program is not compatible with your net-book.
